William Evans
William Evans is a Utah native who graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in English Literature. He went on to study at Creighton University where his favorite subject was Gothic American literature. His master’s thesis is available in the National Museum of Wales located in Swansea, Wales, UK. His thesis preserves the journals of Welshman William Ajax who immigrated to the United States during the 19th century. William stayed at Creighton University to pursue a terminal degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership in Education. William has been involved in school choice for over 10 years. He began his career as an English teacher and school administrator on the founding team of a new charter school. He spent several years working as a school turnaround consultant and provided coaching and guidance to schools serving Native American students in North Dakota. William also served as a coordinator at the state evaluating charter school performance. William recently began working with an education management firm providing backend services to schools supporting at-risk students.
In William’s spare time he can be found hiking around the Salt Lake valley with his dog Watson. |

Aubrey is passionate about the mission and vision of Roots High School. As someone who resides on her own ranch in the mountains of Utah, she believes that a farm is an ideal setting for students to study the essential connections between humans and the land. |
