Working here

What the job looks like.

We teach 256 students in grades 9 through 12, and for a lot of them Roots is the third or fourth school they have tried. Every adult in the building runs on 243 (We Love You), our method built on two needs, belonging and significance, and we use it in the hallway, in class, and in the hard conversations.

The farm is part of the school day. Our staff plan lessons around four hundred chickens, a herd of goats and sheep, and twenty thousand flower stems a year, and students do the real work of tending all of it.

How to apply

Apply with one form.

Fill out the Roots employment application and name the position you want. Our office reviews every application and contacts you as soon as we can.
